Bio Dessous Recordings was founded in 1998 by the brilliant Berlin based DJ and producer Steve Bug as a platform for deep- and vocal house orientated dance music.With the first singles and EP’s by artists including Vincenzo, Alexi Delano and Steve Bug himself, & further artist-participations and remixs from the likes of Ian Pooley and I:Cube, as well as with the success of the first label compilation „Erotic Moments In House“, the label leapt quickly into worldwide popularity as one of the leading German house music labels. This labels reputation in the album market was also secured with the release of Barcelona based Vincenzo’s debut longplayer „1-800 Vincenzo“, a high-quality album that fortified his status as one of the most interesting house producers around. Dessous is also all about variety and the catalogue is laced with bits of Jazz & downtempo tracks for relaxation, a lot of cool disco elements, as well as dry percussions, which add to the whole kudos of the label as an outlet for sophisticated variety which expands the sound spectrum in the form of modern fusions of music and genres in an opalescent way.
